Just some thoughts on love.
All I know is love.
I believe with my whole heart we can change the world with love.
Profound simplicity of love.
My friend & I were driving on the LA freeways and said “If everyone wasn’t such assholes it be so much easier to drive here” as he was trying to switch lanes, I was 16 at the time & I never forgot it.
If everyone wasn’t such assholes to each other the world would be so different.
If we truly valued life & one another, the world. nations. states. cities. towns. villages. homes. would look extremely different.
What if we truly fought for each other’s highest calling?
What would our communities look like if love was our highest goal?
Let love be your highest goal. -1 Corinthians 14:1
I believe in God.
I believe in the God of the Bible & I believe he is as good as he says he is.
I also believe so many people have been hurt by the church. organizations. christians.
& have a jaded perspective on a LOVING God.
I feel so many people see a judgmental God who is angry with them & that could never just love them as they are… because the church has failed to love them, as they are.
If you have been hurt, let me say I am sorry for those who have hurt you.
I believe in a message of love.
I believe in a message of grace.
I believe God created the human race to love them.
I believe the creator of the universe has formed you in your mother’s womb to simply know you.
Not just to judge you & tell you to get your act together because it is his kindness that leads us to repentance.
I believe we need to seek out love from the Father & for one another.
“Love the Lord your God with all your passion & prayer & intelligence. This is the most important, but there is a second to set alongside it: Love others as well as you love yourself.” –Matthew 22:36
